プログレッシヴ・ジャズ・メタル。メタル・クリムゾンにも通ずる硬派でメタリックな音楽。ベースのSean Maloneが中心のバンドのようで毎回違うメンバーで構成されており、前作ではTrey GunnやDream Theaterのメンバーが参加しているようですが納得です。
今回師匠は３曲に参加していますが、暗く硬質な世界にメロディックな色彩感をもたらす役割を演じています。また、このアルバムではBill Brufordも参加しており、2曲でGenesis以来の競演が実現しています。もうこれだけで買いですよね。

This is progressive jazz metal which is dark and metallic music just like metal Crimson meets Dream Theater. Steve plays in 3 tracks and in the 2 tracks plays with Bill Bruford who plays for 4 tracks in this album. The following video is "Some Brighter thing" Steve and Bill Bruford plays together.
